Covid Vaccine Booster update

The CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices will meet Wednesday and Thursday 9/22 and 9/23 to discuss the FDA recommendation of a booster dose for those who have completed the initial two dose series of Pfizer vaccine only. There is no booster information available for Moderna recipients at this time. Boosters of the Pfizer will not be given until the CDC has given approval and guidance has been issued to providers. Immunocompromised patients are still currently eligible for a 3rd dose of either Pfizer or Moderna. If you currently have a booster appointment with us before 9/23 it will be cancelled. You may schedule a new appointment once we have been issued final guidance.
